About me ~

I received my Masters degree from Azusa Pacific University in Clinical Psychology; and after completing my internship with CIFT, I became a licensed therapist in 2004. After working at CIFT for about 10 years I made the decision to open my private practice in Brea. Fast forward 12 years and now you will find me on the Big Island of Hawaii, in the historic Waimea Building in the heart of town.

For the last few years I have been teaching classes at Azusa Pacific University in the Graduate Psychology program. As a result of finding the love of helping the next generation of therapists grow into their potential, when I am not in my therapy office you will find me mentoring and supervising associates.

When I am not working I try to find balance ~ that includes spending time with friends and family, traveling with my husband, yoga, reading for enjoyment and adventuring on the Big Island with Bailey.

Dog named Bailey

Sometimes Bailey joins me in my office ~ Bailey was adopted in early December 2021. She is a 4 year old Austrailian Cattle Dog, also known as a Blue Heeler. She is very smart and loves people. She loves to greet clients with kisses, and is always ready for a good belly rub.
